Through the Association, members lead the work to promote and enhance the sustainable and safe use of portable batteries that power the many electronic devices on which consumers rely across the UK and Ireland.

BIPBA’s objectives for 2025:

• Shape the upcoming Battery Regulations review to support an achievable increase in battery recycling rates.
• Educate and work with Government, Parliamentarians, retailers, end product manuafacturers and charities on button and coin cell battery safety.
• Articulate members’ asks of Government, Parliament and others to influence national policy and support a sustainable market for batteries.
